Binance Agent OS alternatives
Binance Agent OS launched on 20 August 2026 and gets the hardest part right: the agent cannot withdraw. People look elsewhere over what it does not do: the sub-account balance is the entire limit on losses, funds are custodial, it trades crypto only, and it does not serve US customers.
What Binance Agent OS does well
Binance states that its MCP server provides no withdrawal scope at all, authorisation runs through a sub-account isolated from your main one, and no keys sit on your machine. It is the deepest venue here, and if your worry was an agent emptying your account, Binance answers it.
The limit people run into
Binance told TechCrunch on launch day that it does not cap how much an agent can trade or lose, so the balance you move into the sub-account is the whole protection.
Five alternatives
1Senpi
The direct answer to the gap, and it beats us on the central question here, so read it first. Senpi documents a daily-loss halt, an intraday drawdown breaker, per-position maximum loss and consecutive-loss cooldowns, which stop a losing run. Neither a sub-account balance nor a per-order cap does that. The trade is the instrument: Hyperliquid perpetual futures only, and a perpetual future conveys no share and can be liquidated.
Senpi skills repository2Gate MCP
The closest swap if you want a large crypto exchange with better control. It authorises over OAuth2 with five scopes, and trade is its own scope that must be granted before any order can be placed. Still custodial, still no cap on a single order.
GitHub repo3MetaMask Agent Wallet
The answer if custody was the problem rather than the loss limit. You hold the recovery phrase, the agent never sees the key, and it works inside a policy you set: a protocol allow-list and daily spend limits. A daily limit beats a funded balance as a boundary. A mistake is yours to absorb, and the MetaMask pages disagree on whether this is generally available.
MetaMask4Coinbase for Agents
A hosted alternative with a tighter permission split: Trade and Transfer are separate, and Transfer cannot reach an external address. Coinbase does not publish a country list for the agent product, so it is not a documented answer to Binance’s US exclusion. It is also custodial, and bounding the damage means funding a separate portfolio rather than setting a cap.
Coinbase docs5FensoryOurs
Ours, fifth, and we do not fix the thing this page is mostly about. Our cap, allow-list and kill-switch are enforced on the account rather than asked of the model, and an order above the cap is rejected rather than trimmed, which is stronger than a sub-account balance. But a cap bounds one order, not a losing run, and Senpi documents more there than we do, which is why it is first. Not available to US persons.
The Fensory MCP server
Side by side
| Option | Who holds the funds | What stops a bad order | What it trades | Where you can open it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Senpi | You. The terms at senpi.ai/terms say "Senpi does not take custody of funds" and that delegated access is limited to trading and "does not permit Senpi to transfer or withdraw funds to any external address" | The most documented set in this field: a daily-loss halt, an intraday drawdown breaker, per-position max_loss_pct with trailing exits, margin, notional and leverage limits that reject a breaching signal, and consecutive-loss and per-asset cooldowns | Hyperliquid perpetual futures only. ~230 crypto and ~95 equities, metals, indices and pre-IPO | No US-person exclusion published. The terms bar sanctioned jurisdictions and give California residents CCPA rights, which reads as US availability |
| Gate MCP | Gate, in your exchange account. The DEX surface is a separate wallet | The scopes are the control, and they are the only ones here shaped like ours. Five of them: market for public data, profile for read-only account access, trade before any order can be placed, account for the unified and sub-accounts, and wallet, which covers transfers, deposits and withdrawals. No cap on the size of a single order | Crypto spot, futures, options, delivery, margin, earn, plus DEX swaps across 20+ chains | Not documented on the repository |
| MetaMask Agent Wallet | You. Self-custodial | Protocol allow-list, daily spend limits, two-factor approval outside policy with a five-minute auto-decline | Swaps, perpetual futures, prediction markets, staking, across Hyperliquid, EVM chains and Solana | Not stated |
| Coinbase for Agents | Coinbase, in an isolated portfolio | Portfolio scoping, separate Trade and Transfer permissions where Transfer cannot reach an external address, and revoking the connection. Maximum trade sizes and daily limits are named on one Coinbase page but not documented anywhere we could find | Spot crypto, US futures, S&P 500 equities | Not documented for the agent product |
| Fensory | You. Tokens settle to a wallet you control, perp margin sits at the venue | Kill-switch, market allow-list and a per-order cap, all enforced on the account. An order above the cap is rejected rather than trimmed | Tokenized US equities and treasuries, gold, crypto spot, perpetual futures | Not available to US persons |
Questions people ask
- Can an agent withdraw funds from Binance Agent OS?
- No. Binance states that its MCP server provides no withdrawal scope at all, and the Agentic sub-account is isolated from your main one. That is the strongest part of the product and worth not losing in a move: the open-source Hyperliquid servers in our comparison expect a raw private key in a file.
- Which of these limits how much an agent can lose, not just one order?
- Senpi, and on current documentation only Senpi: a daily-loss halt, an intraday drawdown breaker, per-position maximum loss and consecutive-loss cooldowns. A per-order cap, ours included, will not stop twenty losing orders inside their limits.
- Is there a non-custodial alternative to Binance Agent OS?
- Three, on three different models. MetaMask is self-custodial and you hold the recovery phrase. The Senpi terms say it does not take custody. Fensory settles tokens to a wallet you control while perpetual futures margin sits at the venue, so ours is a split rather than a clean yes.
- Every fact in the table is pulled from our roundups by reference rather than retyped, so a cell here cannot differ from the comparison it came from. Only the paragraph explaining each swap is written here.
- The five are ordered by which gap each closes, loss limits first because Binance confirmed that one on launch day. Not an order of preference.
- Fensory publishes this page and is on it, fifth, below a competitor. Senpi documents more on loss limits than we do and the page says so.
