Connecting your wallet to decentralized applications (dApps) is how you interact with DeFi. Understanding this process helps you use protocols safely.
What is Wallet Connect?
When you connect your wallet, you are giving the dApp permission to:
- See your wallet address
- Request transaction signatures
- View your balances
Important: Connecting does NOT give apps access to your funds. You must approve each transaction.
