How to Stake on EigenLayer
EigenLayer is a restaking protocol that lets you use your staked ETH to secure additional networks (AVSs). This provides extra yield on top of regular staking rewards.
What is Restaking?
Traditional staking secures one network. Restaking lets the same ETH secure multiple networks simultaneously, earning rewards from each.

Decide Restaking Method
Choose between native restaking (32 ETH) or LST restaking (any amount).

- ✓Native requires running validator
Get Liquid Staking Token
If you have ETH, stake on Lido for stETH or Rocket Pool for rETH first.

- ✓Multiple LSTs are supported
Go to EigenLayer
Visit app.eigenlayer.xyz and connect your wallet.

Select Asset to Restake
Choose your LST from the list. Click Restake.
Tips
- ✓Check available capacity
- ✓Some LSTs may have caps
Choose Operator
Delegate to an operator who will manage your restake. Research their track record.

- ✓Large operators are generally safer
- ✓Check operator fees and performance
Approve and Deposit
Approve the LST spending, then confirm the deposit transaction.

- ✓Gas cost varies with network conditions
- ✓Transaction is reversible (can withdraw)
Monitor and Claim
Check your restaked position. Claim rewards when available.
