Ondo Stocks: what the instrument is and how it works
Ondo Stocks, previously called Ondo Global Markets, provide eligible non-US users with tokenized economic exposure to US stocks and ETFs. The tokens are transferable onchain, but they are not the underlying shares and do not give a holder the right to receive those shares.

Access and trading hours
Tokens can be transferred and traded peer to peer around the clock where the exchange, wallet or DeFi venue supports it. Direct minting and redemption run from Sunday 8:00 p.m. ET to Friday 7:59 p.m. ET for the full catalogue. Settlement and redemption
Eligible users mint and redeem from a connected wallet. Redemptions return stablecoins representing the underlying asset cash value when redemption is available. Direct redemption requires Ondo onboarding and eligibility. Issuer services can pause for corporate actions, market conditions, system controls or scheduled downtime.
Dividends and corporate actions
Dividends are reinvested into the underlying security, net of applicable withholding tax. The token tracks total return rather than paying a cash dividend to the holder.
Why this issuer needs its own reference

The current name is Ondo Stocks. The masterplan URL keeps “ondo-global-markets” because that is the previous product name and a query readers still use.
